D-HarvestMan takes off

Distributed HarvestMan alias D-HarvestMan is a project aimed at developing a distributed crawler based on HarvestMan. It is being done in co-operation with Agder University College and Teleca. The project participants are Anand B Pillai, developer of HarvestMan, Dinko Hadzic and Arild Andås.

Python integration in Mozilla

Brendan posts on the mozillazine weblog about his roadmap of integrating Python support for XUL scripting into Mozilla 1.9.

This is good news for the Python community. It will go a long way forward to take away the grip javascript has on Mozilla DOM.
